That was quick.
Last Monday (my birthday - thanks to those who wished me a happy one!) we got a bid for the basement walls to be finished. It was acceptable, so we ok'd it. I thought we would have to wait a few weeks to get them back, but they will finish up tomorrow and then we can paint and put down the floor. Then..... drum roll please...... we can get the ever-so-anxiously-awaited-for POOL TABLE! Hopefully by mid October we'll have it. We have decided to put down the fake wood floor since it will float above potentially damaging moisture from the basement floor, so that means we have to do it in spurts when Glen is home. It's a pretty straight room, though, no weird angles or anything, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I guess I'll consider that my present since other than this, I got a Crunch bar for my birthday. Yes, you heard me right. Sorry, Glen. Your stellar reputation is on the line here. This may even out-do the car floor mats I got for Christmas many years back. I know I said I wouldn't bring those up again, but a Crunch Bar really deserves it. And, I was waiting in the car when he got it while stopping off to get his prescription! Oh well.
I'll try to post some photos next time. I'm on a new medication for my headaches and it is wiping me out. I though I had fatigue before, that was nothing! My newest blood test results should be back tomorrow. At least my headaches are almost gone, but I still have vertigo.
I guess that's all for now.
Oh, wait, one more thing. I lost all of my bookmarks when we had to reload our computer system, so I lost a few blog addresses. I'm trying to find them, but if I haven't posted on yours and I normally do, that's probably why, so could you drop me a line with your address? Thanks.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. In my defence your honor I was under the impression that the sewing table was the B day gift.
