I'm a little sad. I just packed up a bunch of Ethan's books that he is no longer reading. We loved reading these so much, I'm sad to see them go. It is a good thing, because he's reading "real" books now and doesn't need these any more. These are the big board page books. His Aunt Jude got these for him before he was even born. She worked for the company that published them.
I'll probably remember the sing-song poems of these books forever, we have read them so many times. Now I have to memorize which ship does what and carries who from the Star Wars books he has now. That's a little more difficult.
